I found this article to be interesting, albeit a little old.

South African Expert says circumcision procedure is best 'Vaccine'. The article goes on to point out "the association between circumcision and a reduced risk of HIV was noted as early as 1987, when Dr. William Cameron of the University of Manitoba in Canada reported findings from a study in Kenya."

When I read this in the local paper, circumcision from the Bible actually came to my mind.

You find the first story of circumcision in the Bible with Abraham in Genesis 16:1-3, 15-16, 17, 21:1-2

He gave him the covenant of circumcision. So Abraham became the father of Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day. Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs. (WEB)

None the less, I thought it was interesting none-the-less.
